About Our Neighborhood

Peninsula at Eagles Pointe was developed by LT Acquisitions, LLC out of Knoxville Tennessee in 2013. Lots were first sold to the public in November of 2013, with all 71 lots sold by early 2014. This newly developed community is located on the widest part of Lake Tobesofkee in Macon, Georgia. Lake Tobesofkee covers nearly 1800 acres with 35 miles of shoreline and is one of the top rated fishing lakes in Georgia. The lake has consistent water levels year around, is only an hour from Atlanta, and is 6 miles from I-475. Lake Tobesofkee has three separate parks, which offer year round access to the lake along with sandy beaches and camping areas.

Peninsula at Eagles Pointe is a beautiful gated private community which boasts a lakeside common area with a pavilion, grilling area, custom fire pit, sandy play area and a common area with a boat ramp and community day dock. The infrastructure is complete with paved roads, city water, and underground utilities. The Peninsula is the only development in Georgia with active eagle’s nests.

This private community has a Property Owners Association (POA) and the annual dues are $800 per lot, per year. The POA has annual meetings each year in August. The annual dues are used for community upkeep including the boat dock, boat ramp, entrance area, common areas, landscaping, gate maintenance, road repair and enforcement of the protective covenants. There is a Restricted Covenants and Amendments that govern the Peninsula at Eagles Pointe and there are Architectural Design Guidelines along with an Architectural Review Committee (ARC) which approves all proposed structures and site improvements to be constructed in Peninsula at Eagles Pointe.
